SERVICES PROVIDED IN THE LIBRARY

1- 70% of the library infrastructure targets have been achieved.

2-Wifi network has been established throughout the building.

3- 42 computers have been put into service for users.

4- 8 individual study rooms have been created.

5- 4 group study rooms (for 12,14,16,18 people) have been put into service.

6- 1 Information Technology classroom (for 14 people) has been put into service.

7- An environment where 400 students can work at the same time has been prepared.

8- A cafe hall for 84 people has been put into operation for student resting purposes.

9- A seating group for 80 people has been created.

10- An Audio-Visual hall for 45 people has been organized and there are approximately 1,600 CDs, DVDs, Movies

and audio recordings.

11-Average 100,000 bookshelves are furnished.

12-Our library provides service with RFDI security system

13-Library works and operations are carried out with YORDAM automation system.

14-Library data is backed up and stored by YORDAM and Information Processing Department.

15-Warnings and announcements are made to students with the message system.

16-Some of the library works and operations can be carried out with the mobile library service.

17-All our users and staff are involved in collection development studies.

18-Our users can also express their requests through written, wish and suggestion boxes and the web page.

19-Physically disabled people have access to all floors in the building.

20-The reading hall with a capacity of 84 people provides service on a 24/7 basis.

21- Our library website is available and is currently open for service.

22- The library building is monitored from inside and outside by security cameras, and data is stored for an average of 40 days.

23- There are automatic fire extinguishers in the library.

24- Library entrances and exits are provided by a turnstile system.

25- Library work and operations are carried out by Librarians who are experts in their fields.

26- There are 6 WCs suitable for the physically disabled.

27- An infrastructure has been provided to access information quickly and easily.

28- Electronic-based information services are provided.

29- A unit archive has been created.

30- Services are provided to external users.

31- There is a physical environment where meetings, seminars and conferences can be held.
