DergiPark Academic

ULAKBİM offers hosting and process management services at international standards for the electronic publication of national academic journals with the “DergiPark Project” it has initiated. The DergiPark Project ensures that academic journals are managed electronically with a standard structure that allows a quality editorial process to be carried out via “Open Journal Systems (OJS)”. The system, in which the technical infrastructure and usage support are provided free of charge by ULAKBİM, is important in terms of increasing the quality of journals and making them accessible. ULAKBİM will be responsible for server security, software updates and backups. Thus, all kinds of infrastructure will be provided for the journals published on this system to apply to international indexes. The DergiPark Project started with 100 journals and has been expanded to include approximately 1500 academic journals published in our country.planned. In the system, a domain name will be defined for each journal and a “Journal Manager” account will be opened, ensuring that the journal manager is responsible for managing and publishing his/her own journal. This system will be actively operated within TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM. A domain name will be defined for journal publishers and a “Journal Manager” account will be opened on the OJS system. Each journal manager will be responsible for managing and publishing his/her own journal.

The e-books in this list will be available for access until the end of the undergraduate term, December 31, 2019. The Social Sciences series book package, which includes mostly education and sociology series books, will be available for access until the said date, including the old volumes starting from 1999, as well as the newly published ones. As new books are published, they will be made available to EKUAL Members. The series books in question will not have ‘Perpetual Access’ rights in the future.
