Turnitin

It is used in EKUAL member institutions to detect plagiarism in student assignments, reports and theses.

The right to use it is granted to academic staff, students, researchers and other personnel of universities and other EKUAL member institutions to analyze assignments, reports and theses type documents in accordance with the annual submit quota (*).

iThenticate should be used for article analysis.

Important Note: Only thesis advisors will use it. Only theses and assignments will be scanned. The advisor will open an account for their students.

The information needed for Thesis Advisors who want to use it to be defined in the system is as follows;

After sending their information to kutuphane@sirnak.edu.tr, the password that the user will use to log in to the program will be automatically sent by the program to the e-mail address specified by the Library system administrator.

Important Warning:

Since the uploads made by selecting the “Quick Submit” option in the teacher interface are automatically sent to the repository, it is important not to use this option. Since the uploads made through this option will be sent to the repository, when the same document is uploaded again, it will be 100% or close to this similarity. In order to avoid problems, we IMPORTANTLY request our users to pay attention to this issue.

iThenticate

It is used to determine the plagiarism rate in articles to be produced at an academic level.

Faculty members with a doctorate degree and above and researchers working at other EKUAL member institutions are granted the right to analyze their personal articles in accordance with the annual submission quota (*). iThenticate should not be used to detect plagiarism in student assignments, reports and theses (Turnitin should be used for these types of documents), but should be used to analyze personal academic articles. The analysis of articles sent to journals published by EKUAL member institutions can be done by editors with Authorized User status.

The information needed to define the relevant faculty members to the system is as follows;

After sending your information to kutuphane@sirnak.edu.tr, the password that the user will use to log in to the program will be automatically sent to the e-mail address specified by the Library system administrator.

When this username and password are entered into the "login" field at

the system will be logged in. The system will ask you to determine a new password when you first log in to the program. After doing this, you can start using the system.

İNTİHAL.Net

İntihal.Net member institutions can use the system without any restrictions in terms of both document type and number of documents.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM WE CHECK

DUPLICATION Taking someone else's work directly and showing it as your own work

COPYING Copying a part of another work directly and adding it to your own work

COPY BUT CHANGE Adding a text copied from another source to your own text with minor changes

MOSAIC Combining works taken from more than one source
